Australia's Love Chants return with Shadow Season, their first vinyl since 2013, and it moves like a little boat that knows the moon personally. The band keep the thing wonderfully unstraightened: primitive pop guitar drift, breathed vocals, drums wandering off and somehow bringing flowers back, a hand-stamped domestic tide-clock of DIY pop gentleness, charming as a cracked window left open all night.
